Elisa Arancibia Honored by California Plein Air Painters

SAN JOSE, CA—California Plein Air Painters (CPAP), one of the country’s leading organizations for advancing the art of plein air painting and education, is pleased to announce that Elisa Arancibia has been named a finalist in its annual International Plein Air Challenge Juried

Exhibit. Artists from around the world participated in this event and competed for honors, awards and the opportunity to display their art. The awards recognize artists whose work demonstrates extraordinary achievement. They are individuals who share a common belief in the power of the arts and arts education to enrich individual lives and communities alike.

 

Finalists will exhibit their art on Cannery Row, Suite 206, American Tin Cannery Building, 125 Ocean View Boulevard, Pacific Grove, CA 93950 just one block west of the Monterey Bay Aquarium in Monterey, California. The exhibit and sale runs from September 16 – November 15, 2016.

 

California Plein Air Painters is dedicated to representing and serving local communities. With over 700 members it is a leader in creating opportunities for plein air artists to participate in and appreciate the wonderful experience of painting outdoors. Additional information is available at:
