Hello friends!

 Long time passed without posting anything on my Blog.

But here I am again. After more than a year. Many things happened on 2020. 

As you already saw, live and suffer. 2020 was an awful year for many. 

For me in particular was a very difficult. Starting with the loss of my loved sister in January 2020. I traveled to Peru to give her the one last good bye. 



As soon as I came back to the USA the Covid-19 Epidemic started. During that time I am trying to keep myself busy painting as much as I can. Even I turn myself on a positive mood and started plan the opening of my own Studio- Gallery in downtown Ontario, CA.

Time passes and what started as a dream become reality in November 15th when I opened  the:           "E.A Art Studio & Gallery" located at 222. E. Holt Blvd. Suite "B" - Ontario Ca, 91761



Besides that on November 18th ,2020 my artwork was installed at the Ontario Airport as a part of the Art at the Airport program by the City of the Ontario. And one of my paintings was selected to be the image of the Christmas Card for the City of Ontario, Calfornia.


On December 15, 2020 I come out Positive for Covid-19 and I isolate myself at home. The first three days were difficult. I have fever, body aches, and cough. I took over the counter medicine and after the fourth day I started feeling better. Now I almost completely recovered and started painting again. 

I really hope this New Year bring Peace, happiness and health to everyone. I wish you and your family the best. And I promise you to post more often.

DIY shadow box for still life painting

I was thinking to buy a shadow box for painting and, I come out with an idea of making my own. I have some cardboard and white paper left from a box of posters I ordered last month and, I want to give some use to it. I design my own box. I know is not perfect but, definitely help me with my still life set up, to create some shadows and a clean background for my still lifes. My latest painting

 Hello friends, Hope life find you well, I am doing good too.  Just want to share with you the painting I was working on lately. This is from a photograph of a couple of kids from my country PERU. I am sharing with you my process. Starting with the drawing of my subject on the canvas, the application of oil paint to the finished product.  I really miss traveling and sharing life with my family specially my mom that reached 90 years a few weeks ago. This new form of life gets us thinking about what really matters on life and thinking how we are going to survive this Pandemic.  Lots of people are dealing with mental health due to isolation. Especially the elders who need the attention, company and conversation. I hope this will pass soon and, we will be reunite again and enjoy life.
